I've just bought a new EURO standard. I'm not totally into modding it or nething till I've worked out the main characteristics of the car etc. However I AM thinking about chucking an exhaust tip on mainly for looks.

Does this change the sound of the car at all? How hard / easy is this to do? Whats involved. Any advice I could get would be awesome.

well if your just after an exhaust tip excluding a muffler you may get a little bit of sound, but you will mainly have it for looks, it won't add to any power simply. If you were to get a sports muffler with exhaust tip then you may have a little bit of performance increase, due to less restrictions from the factory muffler. Noise will definitely increase too, it will be a nice purrrring sound. But just from a tip, don't expect too much, only for looks.

You will get a better response posting this in the accord forum as it is Euro specific.

To answer your question - it is really easy to take the exhaust tips off - I have taken mine off once or twice to clean them. There is only one screw holding them in place. You can get different exhaust tips easily - EuroZ has some nice billet ones. How good are these babies!:D

Yeah thats almost EXACTLY what I was looking for. Awesome. And I didnt really expect performance gains, just some more noise

Might ask EuroZ where he got them!

Does anyone know where

a) I can look at exhaust tips online for ideas?
b) More specifically does anyone know somewhere in Brisbane that they could recommend?

It is not rocket science. Go and have a look. Take your tip off if need be and compare.
