Have this clunk from the drivers side rear when I go over a mild bump in recent years...yes years. I had both of the trailing arm bushes replaced as they were worn and thought that that was the reason for the clunk but..... Any thoughts ???

You cannot diagnose sounds over the internet. Its best to take it pedders and get them to do their test. Just get them diagnose but repair by yourself or at your own mechanics.

There are lots of other bushes under there.
Just remember it's hard to diagnose loose suspension components when the car is jacked up. With the suspension at full droop all of the bushes and joints will bind up.
Best to look for movement with the suspension in its resting position, either with the car on ramps, or Jack it up and put on stands, then Jack each hub assembly into its natural position while looking for movement in any of the joints.

Have you eliminated exhaust hitting the body or wheel bearing (unlikely)

Pedders might be the way to go....can just imagine when they see a 26 year old Honda and think $$$$$$$$ to be made here ;-) Good thought re exhaust, will check but pretty confident it's not. Re the trailing arms, they were worn hence their replacement and hoping clunk disappeared but it didn't though it did reduce "cluckiness".
