Hi. I brought my car for service at a mechanic (a friend of a friend) this weekend. I just bought a second hand jazz for the wife with 156k on it. After a full check-up, he mentioned that the ATF needs changing. He called his supplier and mentioned my car model. They then put a Honda CVTF into the tranny. I kniw this car is not CVT. Will this be an issue?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

2009 GE is not a CVT transmission.

I'm about to do an ATF change on our 2009 City (same as GE Jazz, not a CVT). Owners manual says to use ATF-Z1. Honda spare parts guy is saying that they only use the CVTF fluid in these things in Australia even though the owners manual says to use Z1. He says the owners manual is referring to international markets and they just use the CVTF in Australia.
