Fixed Up My gearbox but third gear is crunching

i got my gearbox fixed yesterday as i stuffed up my 4th gear, so i took it to the gearbox mechanic and he replaced my slider and now 4th gear works :) . but now when i shift from 2nd to third the gear crunches and 5th gear doesnt go in gear sometimes, can anyone help thanks.

By 'slider' I think you mean sleeve?
