do a search and type in shell fuel. there you will find a whole load of opinions on what type of fuels everyone uses in OH. Different cars different fuels, even though its same make car some cars just like BP over Shell and vice versa.
But yea best thing for you to do is wat FANATK is doing, test it out yaself.
Do yourself a favour and search or look at the stickies mate.

i find synergy 8000 to be the most fuel effeicent, but i like my bp ultimate cause its easyer to get and normally cheaper.

true... BP ultimate all the way... or mobile synergy 8000 ...
shell and vortex leaves black soot , plus the car doesnt 'pull' as hard as it does on bp or mobil...
every engine / exhuast system is different thou... so only way to find out whats right for ur ride is to test 'em all..

the reason shell fuel leaves black soot on ur exhaust is b/c it has cleaning agent in the fuel to get all the carbon and crap off ur cylinders and shit, so its actually quite good BUT Thats only IMO

Read the latest autosalon mag.....they did a test on all fuels and the only diff was .1 octane from shell optimax to the rest.

just like everyone else says ... i say ultimate .. ive used all other types of fuel in my g2 (even 7/11 premium, its that bad) and nothing goes near ultimate .
not only it helps your engine run smooth , you will notice the instant acceleration gain.
if you dont take our word for it best thing to do is .
try optimax , synergy , vortex and ultimate .(1 at a time)
and depending on the idling and the performance you can choose for yourself

dont try one fuel then instantly change over...
try shell 3-5 times full tank refill...
switch to bp 3-5 full tank fills again etc etc...
bp and mobil just feels like the engine is breathing better and pulls harder...

bp ultimate or mobil 8000 seem to give my car the best performance, economy and alot more consistant than other fuels.

Theres just too many variables involved here to make a decisive statment that this fuel is better then that other fuel.
And judging by how accurate some peoples bum dynos are........they should open a tuning shop and tune cars....."Come here, Cars Tuned by Ass's" pun intended :D

Every car likes/dislikes a certain type of petrol. You got a teg vtir and so did i. My teg hated BP car felt like crap and was just all round crap. My teg loved SHELL though, got bout 450-500kms on a full tank. And that also included me revving my baby to red line for the first three gears whenever i filled her up.
And also wat you mean cuz u use BP u can chop other VTECz so easily. What does BP give you and extra 20kw atw????
DO NOT BUY BP OR MOBIL FUEL!!!!
Petrol prices - worth thinking about!
This initiative does come from Barry Minster, worth calling and chatting to him if you need reassurance.
Apparently we are going to hit close to $1.35 a litre by the winter. If this happens the prices will flow on down to the price of every thing we buy!
Want petrol prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent, united action. Philip Hollsworth, offered this good idea.
This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy petrol on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt ourselves" by refusing to buy petrol. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can really work.
Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a litre is CHEAP at .89 / .95 cents, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace, not sellers. With the price of petrol going up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see the price of petrol come down is if we hit someone in the pocket by not purchasing their Petrol!
And we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves.
Here's the idea:
For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY petrol from the two biggest oil companies (which now are: BP and Mobil). If they are not selling any petrol, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of BP petrol buyers. It's
really simple to do!!
Now, don't wimp out on me at this point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I am sending this note to a lot of people. If each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) ...and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we
will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!
Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all. (and not buy at BP and Mobil) How long would all that take? If each of us sends this email out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!! I'll bet you didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you!
Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on.
PLEASE HOLD OUT UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE 80 cents a LITRE RANGE.
It's easy to make this happen. Just forward this email, and buy your petrol at Shell, Caltex, GAS. or Gull Outlets and drive past BP and MOBIL Stations.

If you use bp and put on spoon socks it's about 23kw atw.
