steering clicks, 03 civic, manual.

i had the left front strut off to replace the top mount. upon re assembly ive a clicking noise when i turn the steering from lock to lock.
this is with the car stopped but motor running. its an 03 hatch, manual. hard to see whats caused this. anyone suggest something ?
its got the electric power steering.

Did you only take the strut assembly off? Didnt touch the axles or hubs?

If not, then you may not have sat the spring in the strut correctly, and the bottom is catching on the end of the spring with the seat on the bottom of the strut.
