After 3,000RPM, i'm noticing a soft clicking noise when i floor it... ive heard from ppl that it might be just the

head shield on my headers hitting against each other.. but i dunno... anyone can help?..

thanks :)

3k rpm...EXACTLY under any situation ( like turing , straight line etc) And , 3,000rpm in any gear OR at a certain road speed ?
Is it a definite CLICK noise , or faint ?
Does the noise raise and lower in speed/noise as the RPMS do ?

when i drove it, it was a click, faint click... its in any gear or even when u rev it past 3,000RPM in neutral...

noise doesnt raise or lower during speed... its only once u past 3,000rpms...

Hmm....must be either directly engine related ? Might be in the head . . . loose valves etc ? Stop the car - pop the bonnet and leave it idling - get a friend to slowly rev the car in neutral and listen - see if u can pinpoint where the nosie is comign from and also waht rpms etc. best of luck
