Hi all,
Found a sweet looking 'Hayame' catback exhaust on Ebay to fit a EF8 (CRX).

Just wondering if there is any difference between EF8 and EF9 Civic Hatchie under chassis and whether there would be any major modding required to fit an item designed for EF8?

Also anyone heard of/ or have / had a Hayame exhaust?

Cheers

i wouldnt think so
the wheelbase of an EF9 is longer than the EF8 ( you can tell if you look at teh section between rear wheel and door.
so.. i'd have to say NO
but modding it wouldnt cost you more than 30-100 bucks ?

wait
when you say the exhaust
do you mean the piping from the catback
or the muffler alone

i'm assuming its that one
it'll fit just have to chop the middle pipe shorter maybe?

Yeah its that one - and I mean't the whole system not just the muffler etc.
OK so basic verdict is that it would mostly fit but may require some small mods.... but why need to chop centre pipe shorter if EF9 chassis is longer?

I guess shipping would be fairly huge $$$ that may be prohibitive..

it might fit. if not, maybe just need extra piping to extend, or maybe shorten
