i got this simota cai system but i got no idea how to put the front part on where the pods is!

do i need to take the bumper off?

if you meant bumper, then yeah, you'll have to take it off to get the CAI on

I installed it without the removal of the front bumper...

it took me like 20mins.... i changed the filter to a gaint k&n filter, which ment i needed to remove the bumper half off!!!

it doesnt have instructions on how to!!

so u dun needa take the bumper off?

provided its like an EG, u will have to take off the bumper to take out the resonator

Yup take it all out and yes you have to remove the front bumper

6 or 8 screws is all you need to remove the bumper

Hey Raff, yes with the del sol you have to take the bumper off. Its not hard, there are some screws just under the bonnet, a few bolts underneath the bumper, and one screw on each side which screws upwards in to both mudguards. Take the whole bumper off as it will be easer to work on. Once the bumper is of you will need to remove the resonator and associated plumping. After all that is out you will see how easy it is to install you new CAI.

take the bumper off. may seem like more work, but in the end, you will have it done properly.

i took a couple gotta upload them!

im still amazed from the sound my car produces now....it screams unbelievably!!

Only thing I dont like is how loud idle is now :rolleyes:
