conntect both the permanent and accessories wires together and see if your head unit powers up then, if it doesnt check to see if there is a fuse on the back of the deck or inline with the power wires.
failing that take it to an auto electrician...
*I always say, if you don't know or are unsure NEVER do anything yourself*
saves having problems :)

oh thats not a permanent fix it will only tell you if the head unit is working and that you have a problem elsewhere. check fuses under bonnet and in kick panel WITH a multimeter or a test lamp that has an LED in it NOT a globe... never be too careful on new cars these days :)
this is this crazy fuse in the engine bay fuse box that my headunit keeps blowing.. check them. do u get any power through it??

Use a multimeter. It is the most important instrument when it comes to auto electrics. See if current is flowing through the wires, if not, a fuse may have blown somewhere.

you obviously have a short to ground somewhere. track back all your wires that you touched before the problem came about, make sure none are touvhing ground.
also diconnect the head unit from the power plug and replace the fuse under the bonnet. if it doesnt blow then it MIGHT be your head unit. only way to tell for sure is to do a bench test... no i know your gonna ask, how do i do this... well thats all im gonna say cause if your not sure you shouldnt be playing around with it. you've caused enough damage now havent you :)

haha thats the thing tho, i have only touched the acc wire, and i havent ****ed around with anything. so im not sure why this stuff is happening.. oh well i guess ill figure it out somehow, the heAd unit doesnt have a fuse either.
yeah im pretty sure its the fuse under the bonnet......it happened the same to me gf's car when i did it.hook everything the way you did b4 and check the clock/radio fuse under your bonnet.....thats the 1 thats blown.
Gf's car was an ek.
