if you are going to spend the money, might as well get heavy duty. your feet will get used to it over a couple of days. the performance will greatly be improve.

if power output is standard, dont go past the factory unit.

yeah Standard is good enough on a stock car...

but if you've done exhaust, intake etc and you want a bit more "bite" and still want to be able to do some city driving then go HD.

Standard clutch for a standard car... Absolutly...
For mild to fairly wild daily driver, use an Exedy sports organic clutch.
For an in between clutch, use a std DC2R clutch. (Asuming you have an EK4 VtiR)

i was told it's not good to replace a HD clutch and keep a stock standard flywheel as is it eats into it. Its better to get lighten flywheel together when u get ur clutch done is this true.

BTW i am looking for clutch and flywheel for ma 88 CRX si can some1 help me on both clutch and flywheel required.I have found that they don't make flywheels for 88 crx but onli 90-91 gen 2 CRX :( the difference is the spline 90-91 has 1 more or less than the 88-89 or sumthin can some1 help in the matter thanx

Re: HD clutch on stock flywheel.
Using an Exedy HD clutch is no problem. They do not "eat" into the flywheel at all. Often the flywheel will need to be faced (machined) before a new clutch is installed (HD or std) but it is no problem.
For interest sake, Exedy's parent company Daiken produce the OEM clutches, so have all applicable r&d available to them when producing a HD clutch for model specific applications.
Custom HD clutches on the other hand can cause issues.
With pedal pressure being exessive to flywheel wear.

Re flywheels...
TODA flywheels are available for both early model CRX types.
Weight is 3.4kg, we don't hold stock of these though as the market is small.
Should you need one, delivery is approx 2 weeks.
See trader's secion for pricing.
