i just bought an ek civic and the damn thing is wayt o low for my liking and tire is scraping if you turn to hard to the left or right
they've said the springs are compressed
is there any way to uncompress springs??
dont know much about suspension
or what is your advice on getting it a little higher asap on a pretty tight budget

cant b uncompressed.... best way hunt for 2nd hand springs.....

New ones you're looking at an average of $300-400

2nd hand is about $100-$200

But you may also require matching shocks if you get springs that are too low.

Could wear out your shocks if you use springs that are much lower than stock

How quick you could find them? Thats a silly question, depends on where you buy it or if anyone is selling.

Try ebay or check the traders threads.

Tonnes of ppl selling springs.

yeh its possoble to do with friends if you know wat your doing.. hahaha

where you located.. im guess you got ek? vti.... check the FS section.. im sure there would be some there.. if not post in WTB for some..

also ben ... the mod here, he can install it for you.. cheap too compared to most places for sure.. syd.

yeh if you want them installed you can do it your self fairly easily, that is if you know what you are doing... otherwise 100 sounds good... personally lowwer the better.

what i really want to know is would roling the guards fix the problem of the tire scraping?
i'm really looking for cheapest solution right now and then in about a week i can afford a little more
i figure i should get the gaurds rolled anyways

yeh but if i break hard the tire rubs on the inside
i just need to get that fixed and then ill leave it how it is i ust dont want to be stressing about it all the time when i brake
would rolling the gaurds help with that you recon? even the braking
