ALL civic coupe 96-98 vti has that chassis code and engine number.

nup - its basically a EK coupe.

The engine is a lower class vtec - i cant quote peak hp etc but its NOT FAST lol.

ek looks like an EJ8(1996 - 1998 coupe)
eg looks like an EJ1(1993 - 1995 coupe, not realeased in australia)

thus ek doesn't = ej
