i get about 400km when the light comes and stays on, that is with a little bit of vtec action and 50/50 freeway/normal driving.

on prelude australia there are reports of over 500km on a full tank.

as for 350km per tank! what lude do you have and do you spank it silly ?

i own a 1997 lude umm yeah sumtyms but i try not to over 500??? umm i dunt noe i though 400 was normal cos i du 350 but deres still petrol left i just dunt like driving wen to low just in case car dies

Ive got a 97 lude vtir (manual though) and i usually get 400ks out of a tank easily, and thats with half normal driving, half vtec madness :D . Just depends on what kind of traffic you drive in really. If i spend a lot of time on the freeway that figure goes up to 450+.

I never knew the 5th gens were that bad on fuel, I push 400 on 50l with my turbo setup and I though that was bad. 5th gens are as bad as my 2.5l skyline turbo. Or maybe you guys cruise on 3ooo revs.

60 litre tank
it all depends...if u do a lot of short trips which requires u to switch ur car on and off alot, its gona take more fuel.
if u use air con, it takes more fuel
if u have more passengers, it takes more fuel.
if ur in traffic, and constantly stop starting, its gona take fuel.
if u drove straight to melborne, u could clock 650kms on cruise control no problems.!

anywhere from 525 - 690km depending on how nice i am and if its alot of peak hour traffic or freeway

so thats 8.69lt to 11.43lt per 100km which is around what the manufacturer states :thumbsup:

it could be your 02 sensors.. the ones on your exhaust
ive heard if they deteriorate it screws with ur fuel consumption

for a 4th gen I got something close to 700km with 100% freeway cruising. normally about 400km which includes fair amount of caning.

Taking most gears to around 4500k rpm.....and quite often going to redline.....

hey guys....i'm pretty sure 97 ludes have 50 litre tanks......i think later model ludes have 60.....coz my 97 lude is SI, i only get around 350km on a whole tank.
