From what I've heard, it's much safer to just stick with Honda MTF. For some reason Honda gearboxes seem to be quite sensitive to the type of oil used. I've heard from people who swear by Redline MTF, but then I've also read lots of stories of gearboxes needing to be rebuilt after using it for long periods (10,000km-20,000km).
I'd advise playing it safe and sticking with Honda MTF and change it more frequently (10,000km?).

nah, you dont need to change it every 10k, more 40k. if you paranoid then maybe every 20k. but Honda MTF will last 40K easy.

Make sure you could unscrew the top bolt before undone the bottom one, i've seen few ppl drain the fluid out and couldn't unscrew the top bolt

I use VMX 80 in my integra turbo and i dont hav trouble. The guys at AVO where i had the car tuned recomended to use it. I mean, Honda make cars, they dont manufacture oils.

And charge you twice of what the oil is actually worth if you bought the brand that the company that makes honda mtf supplies under the own name.
