Is the B18C and B16A use the same timing belt? Coz I bought one for B18C, and the seller sent me timing belt for B16A.
I brought the timing belt to the mechanic, and the mechanic could not fit it in. He said it's too short.
Is this true? According to the seller, the timing belt for B16A should be able to be fit into B18C Type R.

all B16A share the same timing belt. it got nothing to do with the code A1,2,3 et etc... it got to do with the length of your block.
B16B use B18C belt becos B16B is de-stroked B18C.
All B16A(?) engine use B16A belt, all B18C and B16B uses B18C belt!
Hope that helps! :D
I have one in stock for B16A, if your friend need one. Just email me at oz_hondar@yahoo.com
