Whats this front bar?

Found it from a link posted in the appearance gallery, about USDM styles. Is it an SiR front bar? and the most inportant question will it fit a 4 door ED? I want something that hangs a little lower than stock, anybody suggest anything? even if its a lip. And am i able to do anything with the rear?

By the way, engine etc arrives may 1 (what i have been told). ITR powered ED sedan comming soon.....

Yer it's an SiR bar. The car is an EF9 SiR Civic. SiR Crx's like mine have a similiar front bar. I don't think you'd have any major problems, but it's fair to assume that the mounts will be different. Also SiR headlights are larger this may cause some fitting problems.

Cheers, thanks mate. Yeah the headlights do look larger. Will just have to try and find one and see what it looks like, and figure out how the mounts need to be modified.

They do look mighty cool, I've heard that you need to swap everything at the front. Radiator supports, bonnet, lights, I'm not sure if this applies to that front specifacally, but it may.

- 1pc headlamps
- clear bumper lamps
- fenders w/side markers
- JDM metal hood w/grille

Very expensive and hard to find a good one.

Thanks for the info AUSVTEC. Sounds like a lot of effort for a front bar, but i will do a bit more research and see what i can dig up. Maybe a lip might be the way to go.

The car...soon....its been a long time comming. Engine got held up in transport. But everything should be a go as it hit melbourne on the 1st, and is then getting transported up to sydney. Will attempt to find my previous thread and update with pics once it gets into gear...so to speak.

yes SiR gear is different. makes it very annoying especially when a bodykit company sends you an SiR kit for an Si! the lights are longer
