Hi Guys,

just wondering if any of you notice that on the Euro, there's a lot of carbon or black stuff emitted at the exhaust end?

I'm pretty sure its normal, but is there anyway of reducing it? What is it primarily due to (besides running rich).. and how to compensate?

From factory, the car runs very rich, and I mean very so getting the black carbon stuff on the tip is normal....

You can reduce it by getting an A/F controller....

Ooops i dunno what happened, posted twice. Sorry!!

I'm using Shell, although just switching to BP - still trying to figure out which one suits me better. Would a CAI help in anyway?

CAI will make your car run richer from my failing memory...
