Just drove my new EK4!!!!

Hey all
just picked up my new EK4
only mods are 16" wheels, lowered (F*cked suspension compressed springs)
and remus twin exhaust
had a vti coupe before and the b16a2 goes pretty hard compared to the single cam............. actually alot harder!!
will have pics up by tomorrow!!!
the gearbox seems alot shorter
i'm looking to get new springs asap

just thought id let you guys know how happy i am with the ek4 (minus the springs)

I'm having too much fun right now with the b16a2
I'll look around for a b18c block for my b16 head but that's a little down the track
The difference in the torque after about 5,500 revs is crazy
i'm not saying i now have the fastest car in the world cos it's obvious i don't
but it's one thing to hear about vtec and it's another to drive it and actually hear the engine scream at you and really come to life.

Congrats man!! i have a single cammer vtec atm and i only just drove in a DOHC vtec yesterday in a CRX and OG the diference was huge i didnt think it would be that big man. With mine i an just heard vtec but in his car i was like actually foced into the seat when he hit it. SO next thing on my list is either a b16a2 conversion or h22a into EK.

the b16a2 would definately be your cheapest option.
i recon b18c, that would go really hard aswell and h22a i can imagine would be a hell of alot of trouble getting it in there which means $$$.
plenty of cheap b16a's out there.

Makes my car feel so slow after driving one of them....it is slow haha but yeah i think illprob go b16 since cusom work has to be done to h22a which = more $$$ and im uni so little tougher. But imagine a h22a in a civic ummmm

i piced up mine for 12k with 130 xxx ks
yeh wish i knew how good they handled the girl who had it before me got the springs compressed and the suspension is non existent
how much you recon i'd be look at for new springs?
do you have them on your vtir
