Sound of a turbo vtec

hey guys, was just curious to know if you lose the vtec roar when you turbo it? This being the only turbo cars ive seen actually going werent vtec. (full house honda city :) and a Si Civic twincam). So i was curious. Just because i love the sound of my type r now was wondering if it sounded alot different.

you can still hear the engine scream!! but obviously not as loud through boost. BUT now that ive done some MAJOR changes things could be different when i get my engine back together!!


and in my op... the sound of vtec opening up sounds 10x better than turbo spool:thumbsup:

What did you have the redline set at for that last dyno run?!?

I was expecting a head gasket to blow or a coolant hose or something along those lines, or at its worst a rod to smash a hole in the block!

thanks guys, its tru, the turbo ones sound mean. after hearing the video of BLKCRX's one on the dyno, im sure i can live with a huge powered vtec.. turbz is the way to go i reckon

dont know whats goin on with that tune, but from 160-200kph, your graph flattens out.
