Wiring a tacho in a DC2?

Hey fellows,

I have a 94 VTiR and wish to wire a tacho with shift light for track use.



Need to know where I can access the wire from the coil from inside the cabin??

Guessing it’s a black wire?



I know I most probably can jump off a wire from the back of my instrument cluster, but it is possible to jump it from the ECU or somewhere else in the car- save pulling out dash.



I’m sure I am not the only person who has attempted this....



Even if someone can provide a credible link to a site with the wiring diagram of the car.

the wire is solid blue ... you can either run from ECU ... not sure which ecu point it is, or you can run from your Distributor in the engine bay... its solid blue along the whole line.

thanks champ, ill try locating it at the ecu- solid blue. We'll see how i go
