do you know what brand ur alarm is ?
if you do, take it to a car alarm specialist that supplies the same branded alarm and ask them to get a remote done for u..

i had the same pro when i bought my civic...but i had one controller that wasnt working so great...so i took it to a remote specialist in the city n they fixed the remote i had for like $30 n made a new one for me for another $80...not too bad considering i was gonna get a new alarm for $300

as said before you need to find out what brand/type of keyless entry you have, then you can get a remote to suit. some of those key cutting places in shopping centres in melb can do remotes aswell.
