4000 for insurance... thats insane. Thats what i pay for and that is full comp for the wrx. Yea justcars, should be relatively cheaper.

if your under 25 get your mum/dad to put it under their name and have you as a secondary driver and it will end up much cheaper

i asked about that with nrma, they actually sed its cheaper to jsut use ur own name coz 3rd party gets no bonus. they said just use your own name.

yeh. i got quoted from justcars, seems quite good. like 700 for 3rd party, and 950 includgin theft n fire.. so i mite go that. :D

$1500 full comp on my em1 with 'just car insurance'. They quoted me as a rating 4 and then when i called to confirm it the day i was picking up the car they said they made a mistake and i should be rating 5 but because they quoted me that price they had to live up to it :D only thing is my premium won't go down next year.

I am 20 and that was the first insurance policy that i had takin under my name.

I hate just cars now.
Yes they are cheap ($650ish for comprehensive with stereo, bodykit-wtf, alloys, lowering, i cant remember what else is listed) Rating 1 @ 22 years old.

However they will use the shittest cheapest quote that they can get. I am going through a claim with them now because some f-tard backed into me at a shopping centre car park, and it's like the other insurance is going to pay for it anyway, why do I have to go to this dodgy m-fcking crash repairers that glanced at my car for 1 minute and wrote my quote and details on the back of a scrap piece of paper. And you MUST go to one of their 'preffered' repairers which are probably all dodgy cheap looking places.

Oh well, things can be worse, they could refuse the claim and make me pay for it. I have 6 months left on my insurance, but I am VERY tempted to jump to SGIC and pay that extra $1000 to get a good repairer.

Yes, I'm a bit of a drama queen.

i'm withjust car and i was in two accidents in 6months, the first being the day i put insurance on the car too. both accidents where both not my fault and they let me go to any repairer i wanted and get a quote. but yes if you are at fault then your cars going to the shittest repairer there is, but thats the same with AAMI. justcar still give you a warranty on the repairs however, so if your not happy just keep sending your car back until your happy with it. i sent my car to victoria smash repairs in smithfield, thats a NRMA preferred smash repairer but the job still wasnt 100%, id give it around 95% because the paint they use, even though its the same colour and looks perfect, its not the same paint (hard to explain). yes i'm very fastidious about my car. the guy specialises in Hondas so it would be good for you guys. btw i'm using my mates account at the moment

The accident was not my fault yet they want me to go to this crap place. Some stupid blind person reversed into me, and he could not hear me beeping my horn 4-6 times, I was gridlocked I couldn't move, I even got a witness to say he was a retard. That reminds me I need to send Just Cars and angry email. The stupid ass assesor even says to me 'oh thats a nice car, you keep it in good condition' NO shit shirlock & I had planned to keep it that way, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, now I have to take it to some spazzo place.

Sorry, not taking it out on you, just angry at the situation, I dont have the time to take the car to the crash repairers once let alone return it several times if I'm not happy. They don't even have anyone they can suggest for PAID loan cars.

Maybe its just the Adelaide devision...

my parents are with AAMI they;ve been paid out twice fairly quickly too, i was impressed. first time our car got stolen, 2nd time some L plater without anyone else in the car wrote off my mums car. but they also send ur car to cheap repairers if your in fault. might as well go with justcar. they have alot of disadvantages like they are really slow but at doing things, send your car to cheap repairers... but they are cheap and i only got full comprehensive incase my car got stolen or written off.

If the car is stock, I'd recommend AAMI comp. But make sure they give you a good agreed value if you have low kays. If you haven't got the money then AAMI fire + theft is pretty good.

If modified, then JustCar.
