Just got quoted this at Lilydale exhaust fix, melbourne. For 1999 civic em1 coupe.

Xforce S/Steel headers - $590
AC Delco Hi Flow Cat - $280
2 1/4 System with Magnaflow muffler, resonator - $520
flanges and some flexible peice to take the engine movement.
including fitting. All up it will cost me $1350

What do yall think bout that. He said pretty much full days work.

There was an integra type R getting the same system done when i was there and it had a very nice note.

Muffler/Cat. u can also purchase from the trader and save about 100bux.
just buy the parts urself and just get them to make pipin and fitment. save $$$

sounds pretty dear!!

but the headers and hi-flow cat from egsi

$450+$189

maybe u will get abit of discount if u buy both

either way you will come out better off if u buy the parts urself...

$520 for muffler n resonator, my car atm (2") cost me $245 for that...im guessing for a 2.25 itd be closer to $300...but that is press bent and mild steel...

custom 2.25 with muffler that is not a uber JDM brand like HKS should really cost less than $300 fitted...thats mandrel bent mild steel tho

I thought it was a bit steep also. Apparently the muffler is worth about $350 and from what i hav heard the magna flow mufflers are pretty damn decent.

Any place in Melbourne u could or anyone could reccomend. Not 'performance exhaust ringwood' they do a really poor job, well they did a hopeless welding job on my mates car anyway.

Don't get the x-force headers...they won't do anything but look half decent in the engine bay!

Speaking from experience? The only thing different between them and the toda (which is what they're copies of) is the build quality.. which is quite a big difference but you will achive much the same gains.

that price would roughly equal a brand name bolt on cat back exhaust (eg GREDDY) supplied only though..........so it would seem favourable.........but like what the others said, you may be able to get cheaper............research is your friend.

That price is ludicrous. Do more research. :)

Buy from Trav/EGSi, then find a good, quality workshop with friendly patient blokes who will do the pipiing + fitment for you.

u sure u getting manderel bend..
i checked there site ... some of there headers aren't even manedrel bent
If they are the correct bends and they weld nicely,.. then it definityly a good place to go to

They sell hitech headers for hondas as advertised- (their defaulted advertisment for hondas):

that price is not to bad considering it is a good job. all the bends are done right, everything welded properly
I got quoted 1250 for just a full exhaust with headers. I think all custom work.
