Upgraded cams, who has some?

I am thinking of ugprading cams and just wondering who actually has any experience with aftermarket cams?

How does low end power go?
Smoothness?
Noticable power increase at high rpm?
What happened to the VTEC kick in point (what rpm)?
Does it reach max power before rev cut out??

Any help would be great!

Low end power feels same as stock, might get more with more cam gear tuning
VTEC transition is smooth, can barely hear VTEC now
Good power increase up top, hitting VTEC on the street is a bit scary
VTEC xover is higher, ideal range is between 6500-7300rpm
Does reach max power before cut out but a few hundred more rpm would be nice (at the cost of reliability though)

So where does it actually start making gains over stock cams?
Is it worthwhile?
So technically you only get about 1000-1500 rpm of VTEC range? But I assume this doesn't matter too much as even before VTEC kicks in you should be making more power than standard anyway?
Is the engine any harsher?

The car is a MIVEC not VTEC...
Anyway as far as ECU goes I already have a E-manage.
And as far as cams go I am either going to get some UAS one RPW ones. It's a 6A12 MIVEC from an FTO and there isn't really any aftermarket for it :(

No...
Extractors, exhaust, high flow cat, filter, CAI, twin throttle body with upgraded plenum and ported runners, ported head, valve springs etc and computer...
Soon enough it'll all be there

I know it's a Honda forum but seeing as MIVEC and VTEC are near enough the same I am sure I can use the knowledge from these forums.
I have researched this 12 months ago for a friend of mine that races an old Mirage cup car and we have not found ANY CAMS for the Mivec engines at all even Ralliart could not help us with our search.

JUN makes cams for the 4G92 1.6 MIVEC...
