i doubt there is.. as there is no eg with a b16a available in australia.. and the ones in japan are the SIR's..
maybe your mate saw a eg civic with VTIR badging ?

if you had an siR, would have to be stupid to take the siR badges off and replace them with vtiR

ok i probably am - doesn't discount the fact that it doesn't exist, going back to my original point that an EG with the b16a was badged an SiR. The EG series never saw this type of badging.

nah, he just said his friend saw an EG with VTIR badging..
but since there's no such thing as a EG VTIR, then it'd be rebadged to suit.

tripitaka, you're missing type Ones point... just coz it has a badge doesn't mean its got the goods.
It doesn't HAVE to be an SiR to have the aussy equivilant badge.
tRipitaka

i didn`t say it`d have the goods ?
i'm just saying it could even be a plain old EG with VTIR badging

maybe an EG with VTIR engine ie b16a.. hence the badge.

maybe AUDM b16a from VTiR conversion, hence the name.. *shrugs

apparently it was some old guy too, wasnt modified, well on the surface. maybe an old dude bought it from a guy who did a conversion or maybe someone just put a badge on it!

or maybe its just a civic with the wrong badges coz the old guy thought he'd be cool and put VTiR badges on it? as far as we know this car JUST had badges, no engine.

haha this thread is a laugh..
I remember when I was a noob and first into hondas and looking for one.. I was confused cause when I was at a honda dealership, there was an EG VTi, and the sales rep told me it was a customer's VTiR. so for a little while after that I was trying to find an EG VTiR for sale.. funilly enough I didnt find any HAHAHAH
so yeah I just bought the next best thing, a VTi and converted it to B16A :) you have ALL the same other features as the EK4 VTiR, but less weight :)
