Moon Dash for VTIR

Hey ppl i'm looking at a moon dash (or Eluminscent Dash/guage) for sometime now... BAsically not looking ofr a cluster, just the piece of cardboard/plastic u slot over ur stock clusters that comes iwth LEDs... u know wot i'm talking about

Alright i've looked everywhere and it seems EBAY is the only place that sells em at a real price... autobarn is asking 200+ for these. The problem is that ebay ones have MPH readings, but recently i've found one that reads both KMPH and MPH - note ebay ones are only like $25 bucks...

HOwever, KMPH is in little small numbers belwo the MPH...

QUestions:

1. Does anyone know where i can get a pure KMPH one in Aussie for a reasonable price/?

2. Is the KMPH reading on Ebay ones accurate? I odnt want speeding fines cos my cluster is faulty

i can DIY install myself... but are the prices ridiculous?

I havent had experience with Motorware before tho i've been there once to look at a car i was going to buy.

Basically i'm not willing to spend more than $100 on the thing... to be brutally honest we;re looking at a piece of plastic with guages printed on it... i'm sure if i could be bothered i could

1. photocopy my current guages
2. get an art/craft/print shop to print it on plastic
3. reinstall with LEDs

anyway gary i remember regulary seeing ads in the back of hot4s/fast fours for a company in syd and melb that does these. from memory they're a bit pricey though

Lawz i saw the ads in hot4s as well...those are expensive cos u get to choose the pictures u want airbrushed onto the actual gauage... like u can put hentai chicks on it : )

My mate got a custom dash, dials and covering for $60. It had like 6 different colours u could change through at the touch of a button. Looked sick. and then he got the same shop to install it for another $60. It was cyber century in box hill, victoria.

You can buy there from Cyber Century in springvale man, $100 or something...change dif colours n stuff...

the leds affects your driving visibilty at night, they r too bright. i've turned them off but keep them lit with the stock bulbs, coz i want the white dials..

i saw em at cyber century at box hill today for 85 bucks... they are brightness adjustable as well so u can set em back to "normal" if u need to or u get pulled over
