I can also get you perfect Euro rims for $150 without the hassle of finding 4 people - you can add a road worthy tyre for $40. Good enough for a spare. Or keep it until you need to change tyres and the spare tyre will cost you nothing.

Do you just pull out the space saver and put the regular size allloy spare in? Is it that simple? Wouldn't the boot floor bulge because the alloy wheel is wider? Would this not damage the carpet?

Yep, and also purchase the side foam tool inserts for the 2005 model from Honda, and remove the centre foam insert of the space saver. This raises the effective floor a few inches so it's flush and level. As a result 2005 models loose a little bit of depth in the boot but that's all. No damage to carpet or boot floor.

$150 to add weight to my car?? No thanx. I have a 10 year old car and I've only every used the spare once.
