intrusion bar

Hi,
I have a 94 CRX (imported) and just recently find out that i don't have the intrusion bar behind the front bar.
I'm very sure that the Aus one has them (esp the later model).
Not sure that the one for the later model will fit on mine.

I anyone know, please help

i don't have one on my 93, and neither does SiR JDM on his.

But z3lda has one on his 96? :confused:

in any case, i do believe that if u can get one... it will bolt on.

hey z3lda, the bar cost $300 new (I think) or roughly there. And they are readily available so yeah, just not sure if they will fit if i get it. Coz i don't think i can get refund.

Actually - likely truth of the matter is - the car has been in a previous accident, and the repairers did not replace this item to reap more profit out of the insurance :)

My car is the same too....front and back - i DO NOT want to get hit lol.

That was what I first thought but I actually try to make the order and they told me that front intrusion bar only come in later model.

So ... does anyone actually know whether they will fit on all delSol???

jsut get one of those tough as galvanized bars used for veranda poles
drill 2 holes

an intercooler is used for cooling off air coming from a turbo before it gets to the engine

to the original poster - if you are worried , you can purchase a 2nd hand or new intrusion bar and install it yourself ! Piece of mind trust me , in any minor bingle your car wont crumple like a can of coke ! (been there before)

From my research, no, no modifying is needed.

I think Weq who posted "na intercooler" actually ment "an intercooler", just a typo that you read as somethin else mate =]

or I suppose he could have meant a front mount intake, which resembles an intercooler, only it has a pipe on only oneside and is used in n/a applications
