Hey all just wondering what would be the purpose of this compared to a stock throtle body or Individual throttles.
Does this also replace the whole TB??

if you get a bigger throttle body the intake plenum will need to bore out in order to gain the benefits of a bigger throttle body.

plenum is the bit between the throttle body and the intake runners.

the throttle body is the butterfly flap thingy. If you take the air filter piping you should see it.

The intake plenum is behind the throttle body.

its that rectangle thing.
the circle hole (throttle body)-> rectangle block with efi sticker (plenum) -> 4 tubes to the engine (intake runners)

Oh so the plenum is behind the butterfly flap, but its round. But then if u change that then u have to get a new butterfly flap??
But whats the point of changing the plenum??

The part , where the "butterfly flap " sits in is called the "throttle body". This has a eound inside, and sits at the mouth of the intake plenum. If u change the throttle body , usually a new "butterfly comes with it in width to suit.

The basic point of different plenum , is for increased intake charge flow.
