Hi all,
I'm just getting my EF9 ready for compliance and are about to install L/R rear over shoulder seatbelts.

Has anyone got any pics of the mounting points for the rear /over shoulder belts, or measurements/schematics of ED/EF body (rear preferred).

Thanks

Ummm... huh? My Ef9's mounting points came with the car... exactly the same as the ED6

Your lucky..as my EF9 didn't come with over the shoulder rear belts which are needed for compliancing and registration in WA.
So I'm having them installed.

I'll be matching up measurements with one 'in the flesh' - but thanks for the contributions so far

Don't forget it's mandatory to have child restrain mounts in the back too - the EF9s didn't come with those

Yeah... aware of those and have begrudgingly factored them in.
Just another unwelcome expense fro my perspective. Whoever wrote that adr needs a permnent restraint imo! The onus should be simple, no kids then no obligation for child restraints ;)

dunno man.
If your car is licensed already and unless you have (s)kids....why bother!
I'd rather save my money for something fun eg lightened flywheel or DC sport headers!

For intrests sake, Repco sold me two Child Restraint Anchors for $21, beats paying $170 at the compliance shop!

Setanta or other EF/ED drivers where is the rear 'belt retractor" mechanism located on your hatches. Is it behind the plastic trim or mounted in front?

Thanks

in my ef8 siR down here in melb, i didnt need over the shoulder rears for compliance - just across the waist, but it does say im only allowed ppl that weigh under 40kgs or have a seated height less than 700mm :p

Nightrider: Mine's located behind the plastic trim.
