friend of mine got a deck but no sound comes out from the unit (the rca's nor the wires, and his remote wire has no power coming out from the unit. The must be a problem with the deck. Would any1 know what it is. cheers

You should check out your wiring and make sure all is connected correctly. Second you should check the fuse. Check the one in the fuse box and also check the one on the deck. Its normally on the back of the deck or on the yellow wire.....

his unit has power, and all but no sound is coming out and also he cant tune the stations ariel plug in is not working. everything was working fine then he went to turn it up really quick from say 10 to 25 on the volume and all of a sudden no sound came out.

it sounds like there is a problem with the deck itself or with your wiring to your amp or to your speakers maybe the speakers has blown?

we tried into another vehicle and same thing no sound, we also tried from the wires from the unit same thing no sound. also forgot to mention few lights have disapered off the face. think the unit is screwed, any1 know who repairs units??

did you buy the unit brand new or second hand?
if brand new take it back to the store and tell them to fix it or replace it, if it is second hand find the distrubutor of where the deck is made and try them...

he tried that but no proof of purchase no fix, so his looking for a a joint that replaces them, it was working fine for like 2 months. I guess thats y u never buy cheap shit lol
