Hey just wondering if anyone has had the same problem?
Wehn i am in low revs my car jumps slightly but it improves when i increase speed.
Like i will drive for a while ok then it will sort of choke and jump then keep goin fine then choke again. I know it sounds like its just cause ive got it in a too high gear and driving slow but tahts now wat i mean... I have lost a lot of power and it just seems smoother as i increase in speed, someone told me they thought i needed a new fuel pump when they drove it and then my cousin thought it was spark plugs i needed replacing or spark leeds cause they were missfiring and i wasnt noticing it in increased revs because there is more constant firing in higher revs.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? And i need a rebuild because of oil leaks so im gettin that in a couple of weeks do u think that will also fix up the problem here??
Any help greatly appreciated! :D

could also be the clutch, or the ammount of fuel its taking or not taking, I had a simillar problem but its because my car is running rich as so at a lower speed it feels like its pumping to much fuel in when its not needed, so it gives a few jolts in the car :S

make sure oil isnt leaking down the spark plug bores.

if its under load, then it could be leads, dizzy cap or rotor

On that note ECU-MAN, what would you be looking for in each of those? What ohmage should you expect from the leads? If the ohmage is fine does that mean the lead is fine?

No the resistance could be fin ebut hte lead can still be hammerd. on the shaft of the lead, look for markings, more like cracks but not actual cracks, what happens the spark leaks out and jumps to the head causing misfire.
same with the rotor and dizzy cap, look for cracks.
also with a torch look dorn the bore of the plug hole for oil build up.

unfortanatly with the rotor it may apper ok but it could still have faults, the best way to test em is with a sparking device.

have fun inspecting you ignition system :)

Have you ever run out of fuel? If so, then the rubbish that fills up at the bottom of an empty tank may be clogging your fuel filter.

Or it could be something to do with your fuel regulator - when was the last time you had the car serviced?
