Hey every1, noticed that the stainless steel tips on the muffler are always full of thick black stuff on the inside and it builds up quite easily.
Also noticed that when car is very cold and at idle, it chugs alot of thick white smoke.
Car runs A1 perfect, always serviced, prem-fuel .. bla bla bla
hav a suspicion might b running a lil rich, could this b a problem with sensors etc.... thanx in advance ;)

Are you sure it's not condensation?

White smoke would indicate some serious problems, when it's running rich wouldn't it be dark grey/black?

Moving it to the Technical Section... :)

Black soot is normal, your car is just running rich, better to run rich than lean... Most cars that come from factory will run rich..

White smoke during cold days are normal when you start your car, everyone has them... It's just water condensing...

If it's happening during warmer days, it could be that your Head Gasket is a goner...
