Hello,
Does anyone know of front speakers that fit in the Euro, and are better quality then the already fitted ones and cost less then $500 . Hopefully I would have some $'s left over for a amp and install.

2 put anything larger than 5 inch in there ull need a spacer.. as previously said it is illegal to cut the doors in NSW and i do beleive its the same in QLD.

Its really up to you... if u want it to look factory u will be limited to 5" splits and will sacrifice some midbass (will still sound better than stock) and there is alot of options available for under 500 dollars.... best bet is to walk in to a car audio shop and have a listen to some alpine, boston acoustics, mtx, ect and see what u like

You WONT get anything larger in there UNLESS you cut metal and I'd suggest you speak with an engineer to see if it is allowable for safety reasons. Even the 5 1/4 wont fit in properly due to the shape of the cut out.

How many of you have actually seen what the inner door skin looks like? I wanna see a show of hands as there seems to be many people here that CLAIM to know what fits, but only people that have actually done one will tell you what fits.

By all means if your game pull the door trim off and have a look, I don't expect you to trust me, but when you buy the WRONG size and try to fit them and then they become second hand don't expect the store to take them back.

I must say you've never hear a set of PG's (same as Morel & Dyn) 5 inch in a kick panel (yes kick panel) pump out some midbass running off a 2x250wrms PG Titanium amp? :D

I can even give you the owners email via PM if you want confirmation as to how much bass was being hammered out of those kicks...

no just a pic of the kick with 5 inch speakers in it, i used it as an example that you dont need big speakers for big midbass... :)

I am happy to install 6.5's in an Accord Euro but due to the door hole size you'll need to remove metal and someone like me will demand an engineers certificate to do so...
