Hey guys.
Im interested in putting a turbo kit into my crx d16. Does anyone know how much roughly it would cost me? What turbo/ecu/manifold do i use? How much psi can i run with standard internals without blowing anything? Anyone here do custom turbo kits??

Thanks guys.. :honda:

It will cost $10k to do it right. For ECU try standalone like Hondata or Autronic. For a d16 a t3 size turbo would spool nice and fast and be good for 9psi on a stock block.

Ive seen D16 turbo kits going for $1500-$2000 in thomastown but he is right if you want it done right it will cost anything up to 8k-10k unless you know what you are doing then it might only cost you for the kit ecu etc

depending on turbo choice and most importantly, tune, a stock d16z6 can easily hold 10 psi. There are several here in the states running 230+whp on stock blocked d's

also, look into uberdata for ecu management... all the options of hondata without the rediculous cost.

d16z6 is basically the top of the line OBD1 d16... somewhat the same as the obd2 d16y8

125hp, 9.2:1 compression, SOHC VTEC, 7200 rpm red line, etc
