hey jusdt wondering if changing my rotors to crossed drilled and slotted will make a diff to my braking power? btw i mean if i use the stock EXI calipers.. also, are the calipers from the SiR accords different to the EXI ones? i knwo they have different size rotors but not sure if the calipers are different

it should, as your disc would dissipate heat better, but I'm not sure if it's something that can be felt.

well cos im using standard EXI calipers and rotors but im running a JDM h22a which is like 90HP more... when i step on brake at a high speed (over 100km/h) the car shakes until the speed drops to around 100km/h.... i was planning up upgrading the front rotors and getting the SiR calipers but not sure if i have to.. dont wanna waste money

yeah but cant seem to find the 4 stud ones.. thats why im either planning on using the original calipers with bigger rotors or buying the Accord SiR (know a supplier) and using bigger rotors.. the rotors will be Dba cross drilled (Fronts)... but im not sure if the calipers for the SiR and EXI are the same?? thats why im asking if jist upgrading the rotors will be effective enuff

cross drilled and slotted rotors help with brake fade, rather than actual braking performance (well, any help they are to the actual performance is minimal).

Check to see if your discs are warped, if they are get them machined. Then upgrade your pads.

For what its worth i've done multiple stops from 160km/h+ and the brakes (completely stock) have pulled me up smoothly and quickly every time, so i think you may have some issues with either the discs being warped or pads

Are you going to take it on the track? If not then don't bother getting drilled as once they are gone they are gone, you cant machine drilled rotors from what I am told. I got DBA slotted only.

Are your rotors stuffed? If your rotors arent stuffed then keep them, not point wasting money on new ones. I only got new ones cause my rotors were F##Ked thanks to the help of BENDIX crap pads. I find out nearly a year after they had a recall on faulty products. NEVER AGAIN am I going with bendix!!!

As in your steering wheel shudders? or the car actually shakes?

both steering wheel and car... well im not sure if they are warped.. i'll go get it checked out.... slotted? does ur accord brake better? How much did u pay for the two front ones? btw, i changed my engine from f22b (non vtec) to jdm H22a.. thats a good 90HP more.

Yeah, try machining the discs.. I too think it's a warped disc issue :)
