[EURO] K&N CAI from Rocket Industries?

Hey after reading all the jazz about the different intakes ppl have done to their euros i have concluded to get the k&n typhoon for myself.

Two days ago i called rocket industries and they only sell to businesses so i went thru one of its distributers; eg autobarn.

I was under impression it was $250: this guy quoted me $410 + $120 shipping!

What do u guys think? Where have u guys purchased this from at $250?

u can get the INJEN CAI for 400 bucks with shipping fee from overseas.

No one as far as I am aware has paid $250 for the Typhoon including shipping. You might be thinking of the Icebox.

uhm i'd have to agree with yfin

a k&n typhoon and injen cai are both around the AUD $300-400 mark whether that includes shipping or not is something different.

the comptech icebox is the cheapest of the lot.

if you were thinking USD $250 then that would be right. I saw an Injen CAI selling for USD $219 on ebay.. plus shipping (also depending on the person) it could bring it easily upto $400-600 AUD total.

From that time i posted this thread supercheap auto just called me up and offered $230 for typhoon K&N !

They offered if i wanted airshipping it would be xtra $120, that will be here in 4 weeks. if not ill jsut pay $230 and wait till rocket industries' next shipping date. could take up to 12 weeks..

So im in a pickle; i really want it, but is 8 weeks worth $120??

I'm gunna go order it in about half hour. If anyone wants one aswell give me a call soon! -0404 819 918

Sounds great - just triple check Supercheap know exactly the part number you want.

It sounds a bit too cheap and they may have the wrong product.

Rocket Industries only sell to Business? I got mine through Rocket Industries through a guy named Nick! He was so friendly and nice!

Well although I told him that the part I want is a rather isolated case therefore he agreed to order for me...

As for the SuperCheap one... Make sure it's a Full CAI and not a Short Ram system, like Yfin said, they might get it wrong for ya...

Thanks for advice guys, supercheap actually had no idea of what they were telling me. Probably didnt expect me to actually buy it, just enquire..

The price he told me was wholesale price! then he told me it would be around $400; now we know theres a 100% markup on prices ;)

anyway, i checked back on ebay and hopefully getting a K&N one.

Btw, is there a REal difference between the kn and injen ?

From past experience, I'd say go with Injen. Their products work well with the hondas.
But thats just my 2 cents. :)

But the K&N is as good as the injen.. The only difference would be do u like the injen or the K&N better...

Personally the Injen looks better then the K&N...

They are so similar I would just go for the one which is cheaper - probably the K&N. The drycharger is a bonus.
