I had a quick search and couldn't find what i wanted. I want to remove my civic badge from my car. what is the safest way to do this with out harming the paint? Also my honda badge i replaced with a glowing one, i dont like the look of that anymore and am going to take it off. is it safe to leave those 2 holes there? or will it start to rust?
thanks for the help

HI Mate:
Just used flathead screwdriver and cover it with cloth or fabric to avoid paint came off. Don't leave two hole on it will get rusty, cover it with other badge or sticker....good luck mate.

heat it with a hair dryer until its almost sliding off... then get a piece of fishing wire and slide the whole thing off... clean up the remaining glue residue with mineral turpentine

if ur concerned about the holes... a good thing to get is "model putty"... its basically an epoxy blue-tack, smear some of that in, and u'll be fine

if its not so soon, id be filling it, why not just wait till you no when you are getting that shaved then take the badges off?

and like someone else said. if YOU DO want to remove it, heat the glue backing up, then use fishing line to slide under it then use metho or even WD40 to remove the residual glue.

cheap type R grill, keep an eye in the for sale section, one comes up pretty often, might score one to match your car colour

Ooooh can't wait *rubs hands together*
I like the exhausts, but an aftermarket rear bumper would enhance the look :)

heat it with hair dryer and it will gradually loosen..then gently pull it off :)
