did a search
and some ppl seemed to have commented that they are similar or even the same
just wondering if anyone can confirm this

and someone also said the foamy bit of the filter can wear away and get sucked into the engine

comments please?

if it is the mushroom type (like the hks style) then yes, it is is possible for some to be sucked into the engine, but if it isnt placed somewhere dtupid and is taken care of you should have no troubles...

i dunno if its been posted on OH but there was a filter test done a while (can grab thelink if you need it) and it turned out that the apexi power intake was the best flowing, best filtering and best performing filter around...

mate i got a trust one in my dc2r, and it looks identical to the spoon one, something to think about is that spoon get other companys to make the products for them, ie vision for exhausts, and honda oem for there engine parts, so it wouldnt be that far fetched if trust made the spoon filters and spoon just reboxed them there own

Trust and Spoon filter all made by Monster Filter
So actually they are exactly the same except the label

Yup, same filter element but with a large price discrepancy. ;)

Don't worry about the foam getting sucked in Ange, it's a very thick material.

my trust airfilter made absolutely no power gain over stock dc2r airfilter.
but response seems better.
