Hell yes iv been waiting for someone to want to do this !!

My self and Adrian from RazzTech have a dream of building a 600kw k20 engine ;) with nos (if possible) if we can get over 450kw out of a 1.6L b16… 600kw k20 would be a massive goal, if at all possible…but it won't be using a t28...

Actually a t28 would be TOTALY the wrong turbo for even low boost application.

Price wise meh expensive! very I refuse 2 use cheap products or cut any corners.

A standard engine setup would be interesting to design, but I really wanta go to town on a k20 setup very soon !

my friend got his done at AVO, i pretty sure that his was the first turbo dc5r around cuz it was done in 2002 (the AVO guinea pig). its the red dc5 u see on the front of the AVO turbo pamphlet.
his car is all stock as well, so u could find some more info there

yeh but i just want a turbo setup to run low boost, i was thinking t28 as dont they come stock on the 180's, i want to keep internals all stock and just run like a safe 6-7 pound. how much am i looking at if i get razztech to do it all for me. i want a full kit, piping, cooler, injecters, emanage ecujust a sedate low cost setup, thats all i need, i mean stock dc5r's are quick already i just want to be able to nail rex's, mabe run a mid 13. what can u gys do

there are supercharger kits for dc5r? might be a cheaper option?... also i think the american's have been developing turbo kit's for rsx's?? might be worth looking into importing something over if possible?

180's come with t25/g's... late model s14/15's come with t28's.

Iv got clients who run 13.8 and soon will be hitting 13.6 and beats rex’s all day every day and there NA !!! and they have just Intake Exhaust headers and Hondata

If you only want low 13’s add a set of toda Cams, new head gaskets, port and polish on the head etc and you will be hitting below 13.5

If 13’s are your goal most certainly stay NA, if you want crazy amounts of power then turbo is your only option, or supercharge the NA setup,(cams headers exhaust etc )

Again its all about choosing the right turbo, yes a t28 will work but meh there’s are small little turbo’s why do you think everyone with a s15 upgrades there turbo’s if they want more power !! why start with a turbo you will upgrade in the future ! start with something perfectly sized… t28/t25 are much to small

As for how much would a razztech kit would cost.. how much do you want to spend ? how much power do you want to make, how much reliability do you want it to have ?

Age designs everything from the ground up for every client, tailed to suit there budget and power requirements a 600kw monster wouldn’t be cheap (easily more than what you paid for your car) thow, and a fair amount of time research and testing….one thing he will never do is cut any corners, its do it the correct way (which is normally the most expensive way) first or never do it at all

use a disco potato or the gt28 something.. would be better than the sotck t28 from a silvia or also a gt30.

btw do u want turbo kit or custom?

because u can get a hks manifold for around 500 bucks which has t25 flange or so
and geta 1500 turbo.
but u want low boost so i would go for greddy turbo kit?

ouch 600kw... thats like a pure drag dc5r.. i think anything above 250kw is more than enough for a daily driver. mine does 230whp and its quite sufficient for your daily driving, im not that heavily drag oriented though.

GT3071r atleast. anything with a t25 inlet flange will restrict topend 2 much. ive seen dyno's.

600kw daily driven ;-) it can be done !! depends how big your pockets are.
Having said that.... iv driven 100kw honda.... 200kw honda's 300kw honda's and 400kw honda's on the road.. and if i had 2 choose i would take the 400kw honda all day evey day ! i can only dream what 600kw would be like in a dc5r maybe one day ill build or tune it.

what would the cost of building a 600kw engine be on a dc5r?

would be pretty expensive, as much as, or much more than the price of the dc5r itself..
