['95 Accord VTi] D3 vs D4 Auto

Just wondering what the difference is betwen D3 and D4 on the Auto shifter? In my sisters car apparently it doesn't pull very well on D4.......but drives fine on D3.

Whats the difference and what should she drive around on?

D4 use all 4 gears.. D3 only goes up to 3rd gear

i say she should use D4 ... to save more fuel

yeah as above
D4 also allows engagment of the lock up torque converter, from a stand still you shouldnt notice performance difference, but in D4 when your cruzin, there might be a bit more of a delay on the downshift if the tranny decides to downshift to 3rd instread of 2nd.
