How do you remove handbrake handle from ek?

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have changed your handbrake handle?? if you did how did you get it off? i see no screws or anything attaching it to the metal bar. Any suggestions would help thanks.

thanks for the help bennjamin but its just the plantic handle part of the heand brake...maybe its just forced on really tightly but it wont even budge i i pull.

i tried as hard as i could to remove the handle properly, but couldnt. So i ended up chopping off the plastic with the dremel, as wanted my new one on asap. Worked fine for me.
