does anyone have know how to take the stock hu out??!?!i removed the glove and the drivers....and onli found one screw on each side and they are fuken tite az hell and they dun realli match up to the hu so im startin to wonder if they are the right one....or if anyone know a web site that shows it would b good.....

civic 98 vti yeh i tried it but doesnt reallli help cos the model they have is american and its different...the screws are in diff place so yeh

mine is a 96' vti sedan, i just stuck my fingers in the tape deck and pulled. There were no srews holding min down.

try chameleons way, that's how mine came off. Or try un popping the plastic around the console. Most other cars are done that way.

i got the screws for the radio out now and the radio is free but therez a cable tat im not sure how to unplug it cos i cant pull it out enuff and i cant see how its connected to the radio.........

the colour of the cable is black and its on the left of the radio./...tried pullin but it jst wun budge.......u know how to get it out?!?!?

cos i thought i can alwayz wire its bak....then its ok to cut it....btw would i need to disconnect the battery if i was to wire things?

u wont have any radio but u can still have cd. unless u get a new connector for the anntena

u dont have to disconnect battery, just becareful not to short any of the wires.

nah nah i didnt....wot i think i cut waz the stock cd player......i think its connected to the stock cd player//./...its a seperate thing the radio and cd player....the antenna came off easy

there waz 3 plugz one is the antenna tat came off easy and then the power(the biggest plug there) and the 3rd one i cut!!

With www.installdr.com, everything is the same, expect its reversed :)

Anyhow, with the wiring, I suggest you go down to Repco or Autobarn and buy one of the adapters. You can also just wire it up as well if you like.

anyone know y my HU isnt workin......plug it and it doesnt turn on.....(anything other then my HU bein F cos i jst brought it...)
i followed the wiring from www.installdr.com and pretty sure i got things right...but still dun work....
