ok ok ive done this in my old TN Magna coz i just didnt give a shit coz things just "plug" in and out of their orig spots, but i want to put in a new deck, amp etc and do it myself in my DC2 vtir but is it that simple? i really dun wana pay sum1 to do it then realise it simple. Anyone done this before? ( without breaking anything :D )

I have done it 1000's of times and it ain't that hard, just be gentle when you're pulling the trim off and you should be fine! and regards to wiring you just have to make sure you know what wire is what before you take the stock head unit out.....

Where is the firewall located and how much of a pain in the ass is it to get through ?

just thread ya power wire thru the rubber gromet under ya bonnet in the fire wall. pull the wire thru from the inside. its the easiest way 2 run ya power wire.

get under ya dash with a light. Look at the back of the deck and there should be 3 nuts holding the deck 2 the car. undo those 3 nuts with a small wrench and extension 2 get under there and the deck will just fall out with the bottom pocket attatched. Ive done it heaps of times man. No point rippin ya whole dash apart when u dont need 2.

Does your new deck have a cradle with it?

when u come 2 mount ya cradle, if u get stuck let me know cos theres sum tricks 2.
