Toda Headers

TODA makes 4-2-1 Headers for the EK9, I know these would work on a B16A2, but my question is, would they be the most efficient for power gains etc for a B16A2, having been made for a B16B engine?

Anyone using these headers on a B16A?

The TODA EK9 headers are the best performing B16 headers available on the market today.
That is for both the B16A & the B16B.
They are suitable for near stock applications to racing applications.

hmm sorry if i go a bit off topic here, but like whats the diff between 4-1 headers and 4-2-1? i'm sure that its got some power differences along the rev band range, but would appreciate if someone can post the differences. thanks.

Basically you can't generalise anymore. A well designed 4-2-1 header can out perform a 4-1 header.

Before it was assumed that a 4-1 header would give you good gains in the top RPM range (while sacrificing a bit of torque down low) whereas 4-2-1 headers would give overall gains throughout the entire range.

I am using Maxim works now. Don't know which one better. Anyone know??

The Maxim works header is OK,
For those who do not know the product, this is the same headers used by the company JUN.
However, the Maxim works secondary pipes do not merge well & there is no taper after this collector.
This and other reasons cause it to be outperformed by other headers on the market.

It was depends on the design of the header, and the quality and amount of research, i'm sure there are plenty of 4-1 headers that get more gains then 4-2-1 and vice versa.

An average 4~1 will always beat a crappy 4~2~1,

But an excellent 4~2~1 will always beat an excellent 4~1

With headers, there is a lot of crap on the market.

You absolutely get what you pay for.

The difference between B16A & B16B is 7mm.
If this causes them to scrape, the car is probably too low.
Seriously though, you will not have an issue with clearence.
