what kinda budget are you working on.. ?
if you have 10grand+ you'll be able to get the k20a conversion..

Are you absolutly sure that you want to head the engine swap way? I mean I drive an EM1 and the b16a would have to be the most overrated engine on the planet...

I couldn't see the point in doing it if you were only getting the b16, then again if it were a b18 then I would head more towards an engine swap.

IMO turbo your current engine.

I would suggest before changing the engine you work on sussy/chassis and brakes.

B-series swap would be the cheapest option imo

yeah IMO a B18C is a good option to do..if your going to do a conversion..an then you would need to upgrade your brakes etc.
il say a price to finish it all up Around 7-9grand *estimate*.

make that the universe

b16 is the biggest waste of money for a conversion.

I think that the b16a is a pretty good starting point though if you dont have all the money for a b18c
b16a is a good engine
can't believe guys on this forum are bagging the b16

I personally dont think there is anything wrong with a D series engine that for one is already in the car & two is quite able to produce a lot of power with a turbo setup.

I was not bagging the engine anyway, I just dont see the point in putting in an engine that at the end of the day is not making a huge amount of power over the 88kw job.

Sure if you have the money to do it and get more power from it then do it by all means do what you wish...
