i was wondering if anyone can tell me the jinggling in my engine is a rocker arm because i think its loose or if someone can tell me if they know what im talking about and how i can fix it

its like a ringing type of noise only when i get into like 2500 RPM and its starts doing a jinggling noise like is there is something loose but i dont know what it is

could be the timming belt wuring, or you rtappets could need adjusting

what do you mean by tappets and how can you fix it.

i think tappets are on each valve. and you need to open engine head to fix them. but if that the case better go to a professional mech.

tappet = rocker arm.. rocker arm is the correct name. on a cool engine, check the clearance of each arm and ajust as neccesary.. make sure u know the order and orientation of the engine. u have to rotate it after doing each cylinder.
