to all you bastar*ds who have a prob with me because i am not perfect and know absolutly everything about a honda VTEC engine ect.. i am new to this whole car thing i am only 17 my ek civic coupe is my first car and yer i dont know sh*t about it so could u all stop giving me such a hard time i mean seriously nobody is perfect and i can tell you all are far from it. i post threads because i have a good idea of what id like to do to my car but i dont wanna do anyhtin that is a waste of time so i ask people and all i get are abusive comments bak.. seriously i have been reading stuff on this site about all sorts of things but nobody really has done a thread saying what iv asked so thats y i asked and also because i dont know anyhtin about my car and searching is good but you never can find what your looking for so i thought all the NICE!!! guys at ozhonda would help. seems to me most of you who have just put me down are real assh*les so just lighten up a lil geez

no one is giving you any more hard time than anyone else. Unfortunatelly you are walking in on some 'smart arse comments' by saying V-teh or V-tech or what ever - being a completly NOOB on the board you will have to put up with the slack for a little while!

On the other hand - might have been a good idea to do a small introduction on the forums and state that you are NEW to all this and you're learning. Im pretty sure you wouldn't get any heat from others.

You also need to know that NO oNE can give you an exact answer to many questions - this is a forum and we're just Honda Enthusiasts - apart from a few Tuners on here. Alot of the answers you will find, will be peoples personal experiences, personal opinions - best thing to do its to read them - don't get upset and then in the end make up your own mind about what you wanna do.

People can often have rude remarks, but theres no need to take offence.. usually within their remarks you learn something new and your answers are partly answered, you also see there point of view and then can make up your mind as to whether u asked something silly or not (we all ask dumb questions now and then, but who's to know?? there is only one way to learn) as with searching.. i get told to do a search as things have been covered often, but sometimes dont find what im looking for or want more in depth answers...

Just ignore anything that bothers u and do all the searching u can and ask questions regardless of what people say.. we are all here for the same reason... hondas, and hopefully to learn more about them :)

siba, you need to understand that this is a two way street. Alot of users have gone through the effort up writing up DIYs, creating FAQs and making things easy for new members so you should at least read through them first (for example the model specific stickies).

I agree that 'noob bashing' is a bit of an issue so I will have the other mods keep an eye out for it. That said, you need to do your part and AT LEAST put the thread in the correct forum to be taken seriously.

If you have any other issues PM me, but please do look around first as more often than not, you will find an answer to your question quicker by searching as opposed to making a new thread and waiting for someone to reply.
