Hi, does anyone know of any brand struts towers that will fit in dc2 without a hassel with the aircon pipes.

Cheers

What model DC2 do you have? You could buy OEM VTi-R or ITR ones.

hmm i have a VTIR and my GAB ones dont fit around that stupid bloody aircon pipe..

thing is the person i got them from had a VTIR too and he was able to fit it.. think i just need to unbolt the aircon pipe and then put it on.

I managed to get the cuscos to fit, thanks anywyas guys.

Phorte: you have to undo the bolts that holds the black aircon pipe and do a bit of pushing and slight bending.. CAUTION! DO NOT BEND THE PIPE TOO MUCH, otherwise you might kink the pipe too much and stop the circulation of refridgerant which will damage your aircon. Just bend slightly enough to place the base plate on top of the towers and bolt them down. Hope this helps. If you require any pics let me know.

But be careful not to twist the nut loose that goes into the firewall and leak out all the gas when relocating the A/C pipes.

stupid bolt holding the main bracket that holds down the a/c pipe is really warn and really stuck too.. gotta loosen it up but just havent gotten around to doing it yet.. this weekend i will do it! (amongst other things as well like hiding the cables for my tv/dvd player etc)
